The logo reflects the theme that television programming is now a reality on a PC over a broadband connection. The logo is a hybrid of a TV set and PC monitor.
The print version below is in the exact dimensions of the monitor screen with a graduated colour fill
The print version was designed for use in conjunction with existing blueyonder branding
Channel Identities
A simple animated sting was drafted for each channel.

blueyonder TV identity
blueyonder TV is a brand new application within the blueyonder family of broadband products. Since the product required sub-branding of the blueyonder family, we created a new logo which could be used alongside the existing identity but was also identifiable in its own right
Focussing on the idea of flexibility, that the user can watch any channel whenever they wish to, initial ideas included a cartoon style 'rubberlike' logo for animated stings.
We devised the tag line 'watch what you want, when you want' to accentuate the underlying principle that the user / viewer did not have to watch programmes as they were broadcast in a schedule, but rather, they are able to choose a programme to watch at a time they wished to.
User Interface Design
The scamps outlined the functionality available within the byTV application. 'Must haves' included a viewer with control buttons, a channel selector, a scheduler and playlist.
