Web Development and Rebranding for Ealing Grid for Learning

The Ealing Grid for Learning's previous website, like the www.ealing.gov.uk website, still used a table based layout that did not validate and looked somewhat dated.

The production of this website provided us as developers with the opportunity to enhance editorial functionality.

Eventually, the OpenCMS editorial interface provided editors with the ability to change tab and navigation background colours and allowed them to upload and stipulate where individual banner images of their choice could be served.

The brief required a complete visual reworking of the website and a rebranding of the online logo.

The initial suggestions below for the logo and look and feel below were not warmly received by user groups. Eventually the logo opposite was the preferred choice.
