XL The home of cheap flights and holidays

Low cost carrier XL were in the process of rebuilding a number of their existing websites including xl.com and travelcitydirect.com.

I supplemented the visual design where necessary, coded the final visuals in HTML and CSS and integrated Flash and JQuery elements such as slideshow viewers and sifr. XL were committed to producing high quality front end code and as such new templates and code produced by any of us in the team were assessed by others within the group.

XL have since gone into liquidation, so a code example from their live website is unattainable, I have posted a code snippet for reference.

Dynamic Packaging and the User Journey

Dynamic packaging was intended to allow the customer to fine tune their holiday preferences and I assisted in establishing the user journey and prototyping functional interactions with the application that would ultimately provide a detailed functional specification for the development team.
